Lena's Discipleship Journalin for Ps 87

What is God’s Holy Mountain? Who is Zion? Do you know it’s a who?
Yes Zion is a place, and it is God’s people who love to assemble together, love to unify, are compacted together on purpose! They are gathered with purpose, gather on purpose as an army of lovers. Lovers both of God their Father and of the people He loves and who His heart goes after. When we love who someone else loves, it is one of the greatest expressions of matured love in action. It goes way deeper than me loving you, when I love who belongs to you. Like in-laws. When I love my in-laws, no matter what, rather than complaining against them, belittling them, putting them down, I show you deep love. When I love your kids, even if they came from a former relationship, I’m showing you a greater and deeper love. Others you love are an extension of you, they come form your lineage, they are you in reproduced form. When I love your friends, I love you even more, for I’m willing to extend and grow love further than just you and I.
Zion is who God loves, they are His hope for the world to be saved. They are His ambassador-messengers. They are what is in His heart. If I love them, even if they are unworthy in my eyes, or they don’t quite deserve it, I’m maturing.
Jacob represents my unsaved unredeemed nature. Destined to be saved, rescued, redeemed, yet undecided, uncommitted. God loves this person, in fact His love is drawing them in, and those who have already decided for Him, who love who He loves now, they have a special place in his heart. They are fulfilled dreams come true. Jacob is the anticipation of Zion. He can be changed, if he will be.
God’s dream can come true through the faithfulness of those who call themselves Zion. Jacob can be changed as well as anyone else who decides can be, it is all possible now through the blood of the Lamb! The Spirit is calling all to come and assemble, to commit, to marry Him. Anyone who wants to can, and those who do not, don’t have to, ever, if they don’t really want to. It is a freewill society. If one decides to perish, they perish. If they desire to be saved they can be saved. It’s up to her. The call of love is saying, come in, gather, commit, be saved and save some more.
Are you Jacob or Zion? Jacob becomes Zion, Zion loves Jacob and gives His life to save her!
