The New Living Translation
Psalms 22:30 Future generations will also serve him. Our children will hear about the wonders of the Lord. 31 His righteous acts will be told to those yet unborn. They will hear about everything he has done.
Psalms 78:1 A psalm of Asaph. O my people, listen to my teaching. Open your ears to what I am saying, 2 for I will speak to you in a parable. I will teach you hidden lessons from our past –3 stories we have heard and know, stories our ancestors handed down to us. 4 We will not hide these truths from our children but will tell the next generation about the glorious deeds of the LORD. We will tell of his power and the mighty miracles he did. 5 For he issued his decree to Jacob; he gave his law to Israel. He commanded our ancestors to teach them to their children, 6 so the next generation might know them – even the children not yet born – that they in turn might teach their children. 7 So each generation can set its hope anew on God, remembering his glorious miracles and obeying his commands
Psalms 145:4 Let each generation tell its children of your mighty acts.
The New Living Translation
~ Lena’s Journalin’~
But before people can ask the Lord for help, they must believe in him; and before they can believe in him, they must hear about him; and for them to hear about the Lord, someone must tell them; 15 and before someone can go and tell them, that person must be sent. It is written, "How beautiful is the person who comes to bring good news." Romans 10:14-15
It is the same way with lifeless instruments that produce sound, such as the flute or the harp. If they do not give distinct notes, how will anyone know what is being played? And if the bugler doesn't sound a clear call, how will the soldiers know they are being called to battle? And it's the same for you. If you talk to people in a language they don't understand, how will they know what you mean? You might as well be talking to an empty room. 1 Cor 14:7-9
The best kind of understanding that ever comes is the kind that is exemplified, and proven. Example is the best teacher. It shouts louder than any other voice! It says, “Hey watch me, now look I’ll show you how”. That is a clear sound.
One who speaks and lives his words, that man is living proof that God is alive today. This is what the generations seek. They seek to follow those who will truly lead them in righteousness, by a proven word, a living breathing God infused word. My life is a word in a paragraph on a page, in a chapter, in a book of life!
This is the missing link for generational blessings. I do what I say. I am who I say I am, and I represent who He is and who I say He is; I prove. I am living proof He is.
This is the repair, and the restoration.
Do what I do and what I say, because I’ll show you how.
Do you know you’ve said things you may not have ever spoken? Like when you gave your life to Jesus. You said “forever, from here to beyond death”? If you name the covenant name of Christ, you say that, now to ask. “Do I DO that?”
Integrity goes a long way with God, and a long way with people too. God created us to go a long way with those who show us their integrity.
Who tells about the Lord? Those who know Him. Who teaches, those who follow and because they follow Jesus well they also lead others well? Teach means to train . Train means until it is gotten, by practice, practice, practice. Practice is not an excuse for not doing, practice means put into practical application to see how it is done with full intent to do it. The teacher informs, explains and shows how, in turn the pupil-student-disciple, turns his ear towards, yielding to the reception of the voice of the teacher-trainer in order to accomplish the following after of the example.
