Today Our Daily Bread Psalm 2 ++

Psalm 2:1-12
1WHY DO the nations assemble with commotion [uproar and confusion of voices], and why do the people imagine (meditate upon and devise) an empty scheme?2The kings of the earth take their places; the rulers take counsel together against the Lord and His Anointed One (the Messiah, the Christ). They say, †1 3Let us break Their bands [of restraint] asunder and cast Their cords [of control] from us.

According to words we’ve been hearing in church this year, this sounds like unification, of something.
There are all kinds of unity. All are not the same kind, all have their work in the earth, some have their work based in heaven. Whichever we participate in here on earth either brings heaven to earth or establishes on earth what is already on earth.
In these first few verses, it speaks of confusion, such as that at the Tower of Babel. Men were working with men for a man thing. Why was that confusion? Because we are not here to work with men for a man thing. We were sent here by God to work with Him and with men to do a God thing! Anything else is confusion.
Meditating on and living to work with men only on earthly things, is insanity, it has no eternal value, and when we weigh eternity in time and measure with where we are now, now is simply a blink, yet all of the invested time of now has everything to do with eternity.
Why do you think Jesus spent so much time speaking to us about sowing a seed, which pretty much makes a forest? He was speaking to us about now and later, later being much greater in time and significance than now. Yet now is the time we’ve been given that freedom of will, to decide for or against eternity with God. If we work for and with Him here- in unity. We’ll be with Him there. We will be where we want to be, and with whom we serve. If we serve ourselves, there’s only one place selfishness can spend eternity. If we serve other gods, money, things, a specific human person, or if we literally serve satan; like in witchcraft or something, we’ll be with whomever we’ve served here on earth.
Service is a direct action of love. Love serves. Who do we really love? We can see it in who we serve. Our service, our giving of our lives to whatever we give it over to will tell us who we serve.
People who do not know God as Father and show hatred for God, hatred for His people and the things of His Spirit, mock out of ignorance. They don’t want anything to do with God or His works. Right there, found in desire to be for or against God shows the line that has been drawn and who’s side one is on. It is actually a God thing that when one chooses to switch sides, they are hated by those which they left. That those they left don’t want much to do with them and their new found “family”. That also draws a line for them to see how far off they’ve gotten and the clarity of where their old friend has now found themselves. It is good to break up the unifying power of the deceptive God mocking works.
4He Who sits in the heavens laughs; the Lord has them in derision [and in supreme contempt He mocks them].5He speaks to them in His deep anger and troubles (terrifies and confounds) them in His displeasure and fury, saying,
6Yet have I anointed (installed and placed) My King [firmly] on My holy hill of Zion.7I will declare the decree of the Lord: He said to Me, You are My Son; this day [I declare] I have begotten You. †2
Yet in all of this division, mockery of unity, and raging, the LORD MOST High has made a declaration, has made a decree in all the earth. He sent His very own Son to end all dispute. The anointing of the Son ship of God breaks up the false unity’s power over people if they only choose to switch “sides”, by believing in and changing allegiances to serve God’s Son in the earth.
The Fatherhood and Son ship of God are desirous of unity of the Spirit, Unity of the purposes of God to be brought back in the earth realm, for the heavenly kingdom and the earthly kingdoms to be made one with Him. God is a family” Man”. He desires to save us from the deceptive work of selfishness and pride and independent of God thinking. He wants to bring those who mock Him into His very own family and make them sons of His kingdom. He wants to crown them kings and change their lives. He wants their new choices to lead other mockers into His work in the earth. His compassion is great, oh so great. He knows He’s been mocked, but He knows the mockers are deceived and do not know, because if they knew, really knew, they would not mock, yet they do mock, so He knows there’s still time to change their hearts by love.
His love says, IF you are my begotten, if you are born of Me, of My renewing spirit, you will also love as I do, and you will ask Me, even beg Me for the salvation of these, who’ve mocked. One true sign of one heart is I not only love you, but I love you so much that I love who you love. God says I’ve seen you are a Son, now ask of Me what you’ve come to know I already desire, children of My kingdom. Ask Me to save those who act like they hate Me, ask Me to extend My hands of grace to those who act as if they now hate you, because you changed sides! When you get to this place by growing up in Me, I’ll be able to trust you with great works of My kingdom. I’ll be giving you a weapon and a tool you can handle, - ruler ship in the kingdom of heaven and earth realm.
When you extend this weapon of love it will be as easy to break up disunity’s work and power as when an iron rod breaks a clay pot. They won’t look like mockers and haters of God and people anymore.
Do NOT use this iron to harm the mockers in a way that will separate them eternally. Do not use this “weapon” on one another to force rule on each other in My name. Let love rule, as I let love rule. When love rules in you, others will know Me. I allow them their freewill, even when it seems they reject Me, spit on Me, whip Me, and kill Me! I lay My own will, desire and proposed way down for their salvation.
Be gentle in your approach of My treasure and My heart.
Do you trust me or your own way and strength? My way is always the way of the freewill. I want to be loved because someone wants to love Me. That kind of love will always have to be proven. If someone does not want to love Me they’ll fail the tests the enemy will bring to prove that love. Lead them to want to love Me according to how much they see you love them with your free will and how much you allow them the free will to love or not show love- yet.
8Ask of Me, and I will give You the nations as Your inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth as Your possession.9You shall break them with a rod of iron; You shall dash them in pieces like potters' ware. †3 10Now therefore, O you kings, act wisely; be instructed and warned, O you rulers of the earth.11Serve the Lord with reverent awe and worshipful fear; rejoice and be in high spirits with trembling [lest you displease Him].12Kiss the Son [pay homage to Him in purity], lest He be angry and you perish in the way, for soon shall His wrath be kindled. O blessed (happy, fortunate, and to be envied) are all those who seek refuge and put their trust in Him!
