Today Our Daily Bread Revelation 7 & 2 Cor 2:14

Revelation 7:1-17
The Sealed of Israel The Servants of God Sealed 1 After these things I saw four angels standing at the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, that the wind should not blow on the earth, on the sea, or on any tree. 2Then I saw another angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the living God. And he cried with a loud voice to the four angels to whom it was granted to harm the earth and the sea, 3saying, "Do not harm the earth, the sea, or the trees till we have sealed the servants of our God on their foreheads." 4And I heard the number of those who were sealed. One hundred and forty-four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel were sealed:
5of the tribe of Judah "he shall be praised" twelve thousand were sealed; F42 of the tribe of Reuben twelve thousand were sealed; "behold a son" of the tribe of Gad "a troop" twelve thousand were sealed; 6of the tribe of Asher"blessed" twelve thousand were sealed; of the tribe of Naphtali "wrestling" twelve thousand were sealed; of the tribe of Manasseh "forgetting" twelve thousand were sealed; 7of the tribe of Simeon "harkening" twelve thousand were sealed; of the tribe of Levi "joined" twelve thousand were sealed; of the tribe of Issachar "reward" twelve thousand were sealed; 8of the tribe of Zebulun"a habitation" twelve thousand were sealed; of the tribe of Joseph "let him add" twelve thousand were sealed; of the tribe of Benjamin "son of the right hand" or, "son of good fortune"

(summed up- He is LORD, Jesus is Lord of ALL of them) Lord of ALL praise, of ALL SON’s, all troops- all human strength, all blessings, all wrestling has to cease in that He is lLord, He/we win! Lord of forgiveness,…of those who truly hear Him enough to respond, those who are joined together become joined together unto Him, He is their reward, full reward, . He is their habitation, it is in Him that they stay, remain, abide. He lives in and through them all…all who have bowed, surrendered to His rule, … He’s is their increase, He is all they need and desire, He is their strength, their inheritance, he is what they work and live for. He IS, .A A Multitude from the Great Tribulation 9 After these things I looked, and behold, a great multitude which no one could number, of all nations, tribes, peoples, and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, with palm branches in their hands, 10and crying out with a loud voice, saying, "Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!" 11All the angels stood around the throne and the elders and the four living creatures, and fell on their faces before the throne and worshiped God, 12saying: "Amen! Blessing and glory and wisdom, Thanksgiving and honor and power and might, Be to our God forever and ever. Amen." 13Then one of the elders answered, saying to me, "Who are these arrayed in white robes, and where did they come from?" 14And I said to him, "Sir, F43 you know." So he said to me, "These are the ones who come out of the great tribulation, and washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. 15Therefore they are before the throne of God, and serve Him day and night in His temple. And He who sits on the throne will dwell among them. 16They shall neither hunger anymore nor thirst anymore; the sun shall not strike them, nor any heat; 17for the Lamb who is in the midst of the throne will shepherd them and lead them to living fountains of waters. F44 And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes."

a seal is or means- to prove one's testimony to a person that he is what he professes to be ! – (no hypocrisy, not in word or motion only, but in life, in matters of the heart and of behavior that speaks of the hearts decisions to be)
100 = ALL, the election, children of promise
40 = Trials; Probation; Testings
4 = ALL the earth, creation, the world, creative works
1000 = Divine completeness and Fathers glory12- Governmental perfection
What do these numbers say to you?
Do you think they are specific to how many people will really receive Jesus? Remember God does not count as we count. He looks at numbers differently, in what they represent. Even now it is estimated there are 800 million who know Him, which leaves 5.7 billion who do not yet know Him. THAT hurts! Both them and God.

This word ”hurt” is meaning the execution of judgment due ones who have committed crimes due sentence ( i.e. those who have been born in sin and have lived in sin, refusing to repent and become covered by the saving blod of the Lamb of God, who was sacrificed as payment for thet sin, who became the answer for the separation of God and man. That separation brought hurt on those who are not covered by the blood of the Lamb. The pain was separation from God for eternity) These angels were time keepers, and time had ru out for the course of men, yet still God and His angels waited for men to be sealed as belonging to God. The angels, messengers of God (who we are if we give the word of truth meant to save souls) did not desire any to perish, but ALL to gain the eternal life provided them through Christ. These wanted to wait as long as time would allow, to make sure all who wanted the chance had the chance, and not only one chance, but many, to understand His work and see Him.

I just realized that when we “get saved” when we surrender our struggle, our wrestling for eternal life, to God, we are giving Him the greatest joy, satisfaction and the best gift ever. He is overjoyed because He has freewill beings who love Him and have received His gift for life! I know the scripture says the angels rejoice and “have a party” each time someone is saved and receives Jesus,.
This is the ultimate celebration here. The celebration is a very mature one, where gifts are presented the Father God. We present Him with life, we come before Him giving Him the joy He’s so long awaited-
It’s a demonstration and a reversing of an act of violation against heaven oh so long ago. He awaited this very day, everything He is and all He’s done has brought us all here as witness of the destruction of the bonds of sin, of the victory of life, eternal for freewill beings who truly love and choose to serve Him. He reflects back on a time when His heart was rent in two, the day freewill’s took their liberty and rose up against Him, BUT now he has a family of those who have come through even fire and the fire has tested their love, finding it as pure as gold and precious gems. God sheds tears of overwhelming joy.
Oh for the joy, set before (presented to) Him, He- a freewill man, endured the cross, despising the shame, and was seated at the right hand of God the Father. Presented Himself then, and on this day, presents His children also. Amen !
