Lena's Comments Hebrews 12

OK that’s it now you know it, no argument. You are a Commissioned Officer in the Army of God Most High! We are surrounded by both Grand and Evil Spirits. 1/3rd are of the evil realm, 2/3rd’s in the realm of God’s habitation. We are surrounded continually. We have both grand and evil forces observing our faith. Ever thought of that one? Evil forces witnessing by observance, your faith? How do you think they know how to push our "buttons? We show them how in everyday life situations. How do you think God’s messengers for goodness know when and how to help us keep our faith? When they witness the revelation we have by the actions we take towards applying it to our everyday lives. That’s right. We are MUCH more visible in the unseen realm than we think we are in this seen realm.
If we really take time each day we walk out our faith and to think about what Jesus actually did on the cross for us we will dive into living for and with Him. Pick just one aspect – THE WILL. There are many many times I just don’t want to do something, especially when others humans tell me to. Taking that to the cross, I observe Jesus laying down His "want to’s " to die an excruciating death because the sin of my will would need to be forgiven. He purposed and decided to do this even though it would cause Himself personal affliction and pain, but He decided anyway, and that was human pain he was gonna feel. This one aspect of the thought of His great love demonstrated for me causes me to endure (the oh so little I endure) here and now.
How can we say "Follow Me", which all of us should be endeavoring to say, if we won’t follow Him??? This is sometimes very hard thing to see. Think of the messages in the past week that have been sent your way, by people inside of the local church God has set you inside of. How many of those did you take as suggestions? Or how many did you decide you knew a better way? Or how many did you disregard totally as not being God’s voice? Or how many did you outright ignore? These are all great gages to our "Following" abilities. Do we have to hear a loud trumpet blasting in order to heed God? Do we have to have a storm brew? Or a tornado hit? No, God gave us His spirit inside of us. His Son paid for us to have this inward voice speaking. If we need these other voices to tell us what God is saying that is because we chose to ignore the inward voice and the voices He’s purposely set up for us to hear from regularly. An example of this would be the natural family. God causes a child to be born into a specific family, they should be regularly heeding the parental voices God has set up to be heard in their lives. They can but against this rebel etc, There will always be conflict and lack of growth and wisdom in this house where the children will not listen. Then if the children continuously listen to only people outside of the household, they’ll come in with different ideas about everything, and it has nothing to do with how this household works, therefor the household is NOT working. Ther’s division, no unity, no power, no might, no dominion, no Souls !
Notice in vs 25 it relates God’s voice with Moses’ voice. We’ve been so deceived by our enemy, that the only voice of God we’ll hear and heed will be either our own private interpretations of what the word says or an audible "hit me while I faint" voice ! No God has sent His word and He’s sent messengers in our lives to give us specific words, to obey in unity with others He’s set to hear this same voice. He’s set His members in strategic places with strategic purposes to fulfill. He has a plan of attack for our specific area of the earth and is having a hard time getting us to show up for the drill, because we aren’t even sure it is His voice we are hearing speak! How can an army be assembled and trained to do battle when the soldiers and officers won’t believe in the authorities set over them as voices they were commanded to heed? Wonder again, why things aren’t working?
God wants to ignite a fire of His love throughout our community and it will take more than one of the same flame to ignite this fire, even from one fellowship of people. Are we willing to have the fire of God consume us enough to light us up and bring our fire to the specific house of God that He’s set us to assemble at that He could do something awesome through not only me, but in and through us?
Why would God’s Spirit bring me correction? Love, simply and purely Love. He sees a far off, way further off than I can see on my own. He knows where I’m heading in the actions I’m taking or NOT taking now. So He steers me, corrects my pathway’s destination. Thank God ! I’m trying to train my soul to be quiet when discipline speaks in my ear, because like a child, my soul wants it’s excuses and its own ways, so it screams out at the discipline. I realize this and so I set it down and tell it to endure, by thinking about what was given as instruction or correction. If I allow myself to meditate on it and receive it I will see what it is really saying, I will allow it to evaluate me and steer me in the right direction. Ever wonder why you aren’t getting anywhere? Maybe you’ve been steered by the wrong tree/source, your own childlike soul. Children cannot know how to get to their destination alone, we must have a guide to lead us, show us, tell us. The guide is the word of God, the spirit of God and those older than us in faith who will speak into our lives what they see.
