Lena's Journalin to Isaiah 11 Today

A Branch must come from a tree and not all trees have good strong branches or fruit. Without a good root system, there can be no good branches or fruit.
I love this verse, for it speaks of a good branch, one that depends upon God as the core source and supply of life. He delights in obeying God.
It is up to that branch to become a part of the vine, or root system of Christ in God. Jesus made the way for a miracle to occur, that is the miracle of grafting and growth of a new branch on a new vine.
The connection with the old root system can spiritually be severed and new fruit that is good fruit can come forth from this branch, if one gets connected to the proper source, everything can change – even the root system! We’ve gotto get and understand that, even what was called our past can be miraculously changed.
2 Cor 5:17What this means is that those who become Christians become new persons. They are not the same anymore, for the old life is gone. A new life has begun!.
In Christ, under a new bloodline; who I am now has nothing at all to do with who I was or who I came from before.
If a person sees a physician, the first thing asked before even seeing the Dr. is, “What is your family history?” My family history is new. I’m of Christ in God, the bloodline is now different. So what if my parents and grandparents had heart disease or breast cancer, or mental illness, and lived in poverty! So what! I have a new Father and am in a new family line. Curses are wiped away. I do not belong to others, I belong to the beloved, I’m not just any other person, I’m a child of God and a King’s child!
IF I do not know this I live in the effects of a lie and I believe a lie and I succumb to the liar and his ways of keeping me bound up and living in a curse! He is a deceiver and the truth is not in him, so why do we ever listen to him, ever? We’ve believed in a lie, that’s why.
Who are you? Who do you belong to? THAT is THE question.
When was the last time you delighted in obeying anything anyone told you to do? Now I did not say, you were fine and good wit it, I said, you had delight. Ya know what that kinda attitude does? It pleases the Parent or teacher or helper and amazes them, bringing joy to a new level. It reminds me of watching a toddler make progress and how a parent feels about it. The parent is so delighted that they tell people of the growth feats of their sons or daughters with glee. This IS how God feels when we decide we’d like to be told what to do with an intention and plan to do what it is we’re told, being happy that someone has come our way to help us know which direction will take us wherever we‘d like to go!
If you were lost or did not realize you were taking the wrong curve or wrong way around, wouldn’t you feel relieved to save a few dollars in the gas tank, when the caring person thinks to help you know which road is the best to take. Ask the natives, they always take the quicker more effective ways to get from “a” to “z”.
Is the wolf that has hounded you lying down with Jesus in your pastures? Is he subject to the Lordship of Christ in your life, or does your body and soul and the liar rule in your heart? Time for a change of positions! Evil works MUST bow to the name of Jesus! The worker of iniquity must bow to the Lordship of Christ. How much He is allowed to be your Lord is how much the enemy is allowed to be your lord also.
We are in but NOT of this world. The lion lays down with the baby calf! Yes he does, really. That can happen now. Circumstance swims around you, a thousand falling at your side, ten thousand at your right hand, but the effects not coming near where you live, for you live in a place of eternal peace manifesting naturally in your life! You live in a place with God where nothing else matters to you but your strong relationship with Him. You won’t compromise it by allowing others to be your lord, for this dishonors Him. You won’t allow worry grief, or illness to lord over you, for you trust in and rely upon Him to lift you up above the present circumstance and the ill effect it has been sent to your life to have on you. You are in the world, but the world IS NOT IN you!
Your babies live like this, because they see you live this way, in but unaffected in your relationship and pursuit of God. Your good relationship with God has nothing to do with what He does for you or not, it has nothing to do with whether you see victory or not, you are a Victor and an overcomer.
“Hurt and destroy” are far more powerful words when used in the eternal sense. When you read the Bible and see these type of words think, eternal destruction, eternal harm. Do not be too shallow minded to think circumstances won’t come your way and make offers to you, to hurt you emotionally or mentally, or even physically, the question is; “Can they hurt you eternally?” Will you allow that? Or is this eternal life so freely given to you worth you standing as guard over and taking by force any enemy that tries to go after your soul? THAT is the contest. You could feel a “blow” outwardly or inwardly, but does it hurt, harm or injure your walk in the spirit, and with God? Does it take you out of His love? Does it sway you from following after Him in hot pursuit of His word and will? Can it remove you from the pathway of eternal Destiny?
How many people are getting to know the Lord Jesus when they get to know you? Just think, if each one reached one this year…..WOW. Is that too difficult a goal? We should make some that we’ll follow through with.
How much are you in hot pursuit of becoming one with others in Christ? Or do you differ too much and demoninate? Uniting with one another and God, is the only way for the ignition of power and fire.
