Lena Journals to Joshua 3 Today

Three is a very significant and godly #. 3 means - excellence. Excellence means of the highest or finest of quality, superior, exceptionally good. 3 is the # of God!
God is Father – Son – Holy Spirit, THE Threefold cord of excellence., THE excellent One; Three in One.
Man is Spirit – Soul – Body, a threefold cord, an excellent thing
In three days and nights, the Son of man was in the belly of the earth, as Jonah was also in the belly of the whale. Jesus took the keys of death, hell, and the grave in those three days, rising victorious, and conquering!
What is it you need to overcome and conquer?
You may want to seek the Lord with 3 days of fasting, and consecration to Him for victory over the flesh nature and rising victorious over the enemies of your soul.
We have Encounter weekends where we prepare with corporate prayer and fasting and consecrate ourselves for 3 days to focus on His power to free us from bondages, especially that which has been opened up through willful disobedience, Unforgiveness, curses, tragedies, and inner vows and judgments wrongly made as we feel we have had to control our own lives and destiny’s.
There is power in 3 being made into one. On these 3 days we have one focus, Jesus made to be Lord by predetermined acts of our free will’s. Do you realize the battles we face or experience, have everything to do with the will? The will and its exercise is our #1 enemy with ourselves and with our Father God. Enemy # 1 is pride that will lie to the will of man and cause it to want to be separated from the will of God. The will of man was made to become one with the will of God. That is what we were created to become, one with God’s will. The struggles we face are always because we are one with only our own wills and not one with God’s.
Those three days were days of preparation, preparation for what they would begin to see and the new lifestyles they would live out in “Christ”. They camped on this side of the Jordan. We must also camp at the Jordan before going into the Promised land. Remember Jordan, means humility. It is where a human person says to God, You are right and I want to follow wherever You lead me, willingly. Not because I feel I have to, or am made to, but because I understand the struggle of the wills is half the battle and being made one with God will win them all.
Follow the priests who will show you the way. It did not say follow your peers, or the other sheep, it said follow the Shepard’s. Do you have leaders that are Shepard’s, but you do not see them that way and won’t follow them, because you put them in the category of being a sheep instead?
Purify yourselves. Your-self. Not, God, make me pure, or Lord clean me up, no, I get in the spiritual shower, I clean up. I purify myself, keeping myself from evil.
Come and listen to what the Lord is saying, if you are able to hear it.
I’ve sat in many a church service and many a Bible study and realize we as good Christians in good churches, can be self deceived. We sit to be entertained and to hear a good word with no intent of changing what we were thinking before we came in. In fact, even this past week I saw the word of the Lord given in a group and a person speak up as though it was never spoken at all. While it was being spoken they may not have understood about giving regard to the words of God as supreme, even above personal opinion and cultural views. As soon as the word was spoken they spoke up saying that they have plans to do the very opposite of what was spoken about. Much self deception comes from not listening, or not listening with intent to do the word of God. When we have no intent to do it, we are following our own opinions of things and we struggle in life with day to day problems more than the guy who is pliable and willing to take an idea from God that is initially foreign to his soul and adapt his life towards its happening.
Why would Joshua even need to say, “Come listen to what I have to say that is from the Lord”?
The priests had to step into the waters first before they would part for other to walk across. They had to do an act of faith in what and who they believed in. What acts of faith have you stepped out with lately? Maybe it is the doing of the words you’ve heard you need to step out on. That you’d believe men who are mean as having words that are of God, and regard them enough to do them is huge to the human reason. It confounds the human soul, which shows we must be spirit led rather than soul led.
Have you crossed over into living in the faith realm yet, and are you helping others pass over also. Are you living by values of being a good example of regard to God’s word with actions of following obedience to it?
Now is the time, Today is the day.
