Lena Journals to Jericho 6 Today

Every promise of God is not easy to obtain or to maintain. It takes a real “want to” and a real “go and take it” attitude. It takes knowing God, believing what He said is the most real of anything else you know, and that He gave you rights to what He told you to do, knowing what is yours and taking ownership of it.
It has to become that important and that valuable to us in order to take, possess and keep it.
If a person realizes they own something it is very hard for someone else to claim it or live in it or possess it. The problems we have with occupying what it is we own in Christ, is that we do not really believe the things we do not yet see are ours to possess. It takes a pretty strong and secured faith to know something belongs to us, especially in the unseen realm.
In God’s word many times we’ve been told that the things we do not see belong to us and we have kingdom citizen rights to take them back out of the hands of the enemy!
Listen, what is in control of your life, you marriage, your kids or a job situation? Has someone else seemed to possess the power over some or all of these areas? Is it rightfully theirs? No it is not. How do I know? I know from what I’ve read in God’s word, which I believe is the truth. The earth belongs to God and the inhabitants thereof, the people and all who live there!
So I belong to God, for I have willingly given my life to Him. Now I am not only a child, but when I realize what belongs to both God and I together I have also grown into a son. As a son, I am an heir of God and all that belongs to Him. What does that mean? What’s mine is His, and what’s His is Mine!
So what is an enemy, an imposter, a thief, doing with, my marriage, my kids, my family, my job, and my finances? How dare he try to take or take into slavery God’s and my possessions.
Now we’re talkin’ with an attitude of insistence on what already belongs to us in Christ. We must realize we’ve been stolen from and have a commission with God to recover the earth for His glory. We are not ever to be passive Christians! We have been made more than conquerors, not only over our own situations, but for His possessions to be taken back!
We have perished and allowed our situations and family members to perish for what we did not know. It is past time to know, we are co-owners with God, of this earth! How dare an enemy power be allowed to rule here! Yet he does rule here, and has been allowed to rule here if God’s kids do not insist otherwise. This is part of what Jesus came to do. He unleashed the power to switch “hands” over the whole deal. Adam gave the power to the evil one, Jesus took back the keys that unlock doors, but the children of God can only do that when they know to and if they want to do what they now can do they have to go get a hold of the keys by revelation and decisive faith action! Ever hear the scripture that says, what you bind is bound and what you loose is loosed? Let’s read it this way, “What you allow here on is now allowed here on earth and to enforce it you’ll have the backing of heaven’s power, and what you do not allow heaven backs you up on here on earth to disallow also!” Wow!
So God says, “March around this situation”. We march if we believe in His words and know who and we are and what belongs to us, right? If we aren’t “marching” it means we do not see, we do not yet know and we do not yet desire what’s His to be made ours or we do not yet see we’re the ones to help Him get back what is His.
See He gave power to men of earth to do this very deed on earth. In the earth realm it is man, and only man who has the authority to do this. Who is man fighting with to take territory back, but satan and his hordes of evil power servants? This is why we were born, to rise up in the authority given us as rulers of the earth, and as children of God and take back what belongs to God our Father. He will not do that for us, but will do it with us and has done all He can to infuse us with the power we need to do the work of the ministry we each have here on earth. He caused power to be available to those who would like to engage and have some.
As described so well in Joshua 6, our part is wholehearted obedience to what and how He says to do it. If we obey Him, we have done our portion in allowing God to have His way. As we obey Him we give Him permission and entry into situations that we’d be left to ourselves to conquer if we relied on ourselves and just went about our own way.
So take 7 priests, 7 rams’ horns, march 7 times…
Why so specific? How much specific help do we want or need from God? How involved do we want Him in even the most intricate detail of life? We want it all without giving all? There is something wrong with that equation. Desiring the benefit without the work; and the funny thing is, even when we do our parts our portion in the completed work is minimal compared to the work accomplished. This is God to do it for us when we engage in faith and obedience. The jobs He asks us to do are too big for us alone to do, and this is on purpose, for we must totally rely on Him!
One reason to not speak while obeying is that human nature would love to abort this project and wreck the whole deal with reason or complaint or unthankful ness. We should tell our souls to just shut up, listen, follow and obey the word of the Lord!
There is a purpose ahead, and unless we engage we’ll not be a part of its fulfillment, yet God asked us to be a part, it is a work He needs accomplished through an obedient in love with Him people. He only uses humans to do His work with Him. It is a work to annihilate evil both within and without.
Look - Jericho and everything in it must be completely destroyed as an offering to the LORD.
As an offering to the LORD! That is why you fight for truth and righteousness in your area of earth rule. That’s why you join forces with God, to give Him an offering. Our bodies are to be presented to God a living sacrifice; it is an agreeable service to the LORD.
The stuff is irrelative to the victory. The true victory is found in recovery of people as the Lord’s possessions.
Everything made from silver, gold, bronze, or iron is sacred to the LORD
The Lord is looking for people to give a reputation of victory to. Influencers, powerfully obedient sons, who take possessions of their and other’s lands. They take others from the mouths of lions. They know who their God is and who they are.
Do you know Him?
Do you know who our God is?
He is great and awesome, He is great and awesome inside of those who yield and want to do His work.
