Lena Journals to Hosea 10 Today

Israel, remember this is representative of the church in our day. Most of the Bible’s content is written to the saved and the redeemed, who have somehow drifted away from truth. They started right, but have not continued right and there is a right path way to walk on, continue on, and live on. The corrections are alarms going off to get back on track, the track of His purposes. Even pain, suffering, and poverty can be gracious alarms to us to turn around and head back down the righteous road. How would one know the way they’ve driven is the wrong way, unless there were signs or a trumpet sort of call, saying NO, NOT THAT way! PLEASE turn around and GO This way!
There is a way of fruitfulness, and God requires those who say they know and represent Him, to be fruitful.
If the way we are walking is of waste, or is not bringing forth any spiritual life fruit, that way may be the incorrect way to produce what is required, so in order to be productive, the way and the means of heading that way would need to be changed, so that the outcome would change also.
Israel was a wasted vine. A vine w/ no grapes on it, that is tragic! God created vines to have grapes, if His church is a vine with a destiny of producing grapes and there’s a vine with no grapes, the vine with no grapes would be a waste.
If what was or was not done in planting or cultivating the vines caused no grapes to be produced, then what is done must be changed, so that the vine can have what it was designed to have, which is more grapes.
If there was a family or community to feed and give drink to or to even make medicine for, and that depended upon the vines having grapes, wouldn’t you as a steward of the vineyard need to make an adjustment quickly if you saw no grapes and only had empty vines?
There is a whole world in need of spiritual life, and of spiritual food to stay alive. They all need spiritual drink, and healing. That world is dependant upon a healthy whole church who produces not only minimal fruit, but lasting fruit, fruit that perpetuates for the growth of the population and beyond, lasting to generations. Generations depend on the vines of yesterday being healthy and thriving in the fields.
Our world is depending on the people of God being found in Him, in His will, after His heart’s desire, and attached to His vine in His vineyard! We’ve got to get over our petty problems! The world needs the life we have in us to give t9o it freely. Talk about famine and world hunger; they are hungry for truth that works in us!
Thank God bad plans get broken apart! Thank God wrong objects of worship don’t work out! Thank God it gives us another opportunity to see the way back on the pathway of truth. Thank God for consequence, for without it we’d fall off of an eternal cliff and plummet straight down to the pit of eternal death.
Thank God bad decisions don’t work out, and we’re left to feel alone without Him, which causes us to grope in the darkness we stepped into, so that we’d find His glorious light! Thank God there is a cry within each man for answers that can only be answered within the supernatural power of God! Thank God that uncovered, I feel shame and nakedness which is not comfortable to me!
Gibeah means “hill”, in this instance its error would be the perversion of being self exalted and placed up higher. Being placed up higher was meant by God to be used as a place for a watcher, a place to see things, as visions, to have a purpose beyond self to enter into and stay on the pathway for, to become closer to God in fellowship, to watch for enemies from a far off and to deal with them before they affect peoples.
Yet man listened to a wrong voice and thought being on a hill or climbing up a hill, was for him to be seen better, by onlookers. In a way that is true, that others may be led correctly to Him, but not that they may see the man and stop there in some sort of awe and amazement that the man got on top of the hill. It was not for show off purposes, except for the display of one who bears His glory. The problems are always in the perversions.
One hill should have led to the conquering of another hill, especially the hill of pride.
Every hill has its offer, pride or glory? His or yours. In His is victory, In yours is defeat.
Why a heavy yoke? Because one did not initially choose responsibility. Yet in each of us, is the ability to respond to Him with faith. The task we see may be beyond us, and in that lies our opportunity for dependency on Him. We must trust Him to follow after Him. Do we choose what is easy to us in our human strength only? Or do we risk our own lives and go for what is His desire, towards that which is far beyond what we can do alone, and what we can only accomplish with the hard work of faith?
Trusting in self, self reliance, self motivation, self initiative, etc are sin where a relationship with God, are concerned. He wants to see God-reliance where we are concerned.
This is where blessing lies. Faith, Hope, Love, Righteousness, Peace, and Joy in the Holy Ghost.
