Lena's Journalin to Amos 5 Today

Cause & Effect.
The cause: the falling away.
The effect: defeat on every side, continually.
The effect is meant as grace to see and bring inquiry. Inquiry is meant to lead one onto a pathway of truth. Many times to get on a pathway to truth, change is necessary, inevitable.
For a new cause to begin to effect a new future, one must become responsible both for the past, through repentance and the forsaking of its actions, and in breaking the cycles of repetitive behaviors so easily engaged in, and setting up purposeful new patterns that lead to the effects of blessings.
Just as curses and ill effects do not just happen, neither does blessing, for no reason at all. Proverbs 26:2 Like a flitting sparrow, like a flying swallow, So a curse without cause shall not alight.
The only blessing that “happened” for “no” reason at all (except for the reason of a Great amount of love offered) was what it took to offer man salvation. Man must respond to its sacrifice, then man must take responsibility and make actively focused steps to stay in right response to the blessings that the door of salvation opened to each man.
That man (or woman, of course) must continue to favorably respond and venture towards learning what it is God says about everything and deciding at each lesson whether to respond to that specific word or not. For each lesson’s word, men are responsible to act out what was learned of. In order for all of the future to be effected, it must be effected by a good cause, which will lead to a good effect.
It is only God who is truly good. Good works and deeds are not what are being spoken of here. Israel must raise from her fall in the exact same manner in which she fell, willingly.
Is the effect upon children not enough to seek for the cause to change?
Is not the effect on family relationships not a reason to bring change to the cause?
Are not the effects seen on neighborhoods not reason enough to change the cause?
What about the effects seen on communities with crime, and then corruption in governments, disturbed weather patterns, wars and terrorist attacks, are these not alarms in the spirit for Israel to wake up, arise up and be who she was made by God to be, a responder to His image and likeness, a forsaker of her own ways? These are causes which effect everything she does, everything she touches, and all she influences.
The Lord is gracious and He offers again and again, throughout all of the days of one’s life, until that one’s time run’s out, and for that one time is no more for grace. He offers again, “Please I ask you, Israel, respond to Me, to the invitation to walk in my ways, what do you say? Please I beg of you, say yes! Come back, for in Me is the only cause that will effect life. Other avenues may look like life and fun, but they run out even before your time does. Be aware there is an enemy that deceived Lucifer, and a horde of angelic beings, and Adam and Eve. Do not think you are at all exempt. Every enemy tactic is as ancient as sin, it is the same in its core system, no matter what dress or mask it tries to wear today.”
Israel, you are the called out ones, those who God Himself has chosen to separate unto Himself. One’s who have changed their influence at one time, on purpose, awaken the dawning of the light in your own lives. Look and see Me once again. Once again, come back to truth and life. Fear? Fear God, nothing else is worth the time spent, truly.
In order to answer and respond to that alarming call, one must have insight and spiritual/eternal understanding. One must desire life and truth, for all else may even look more appealing. It was meant to dress up that way, appealing to the senses. Senses do not lead to truth. They may show facts, which change, but what they lead to ends up in death, if followed after. That’s the point to appear as truth, but not be truth.
Ya know what astounds me? It amazes me that there is something seemingly very strong, on earth that appears even stronger than God All Powerful the Creator of Heaven and earth and the entire Universe. It seems it tries continually to stand higher up than the Magnificent One, who saves, heals, delivers, etc, etc. The One who is El Shaddai, the God of Plenty, The Lord of All.
That one thing that seems even more powerful than He, on the earth is such a deception to man. See in eternity, in another realm now, in the realm of the spirit, it is not so, for it is only on earth that it is this way. His power, authority, gifts and blessings can be held back by what now seems like a more powerful source on earth. That power of deception is found in the power of human will. The human will decides for or against God as though He is playing a game and gets to decide the outcome or score on a day to day basis. Yes He is Lord of this today, but I am tomorrow…so on and so forth, so on and so forth…I decide. That’s amazingly powerful.
Who decides whether God is followed by me?
Who comes back, repents or returns to God’s ways?
Who decides whether God wins my battle or not?
Who can worship or not worship God, gather with other believers or stay home? Read and study His words if they want to, or not if they don’t?
Who is it that can decide to change or stay as they are, telling themselves that they are ok as they are?
With the will, we do. That’s very powerful, at least here it is, in a fallen world.
Who decides to turn and arise out of the state of the fallen lands and become a Kingdom of God citizen, obeying His will as a kingdom Ambassador now?
With the will, we do. It IS up to us!
It is now the time to take responsibility. Either way.
Do you love truth enough to buy it and sell it not? Like never, ever, no matter what arises against you and it, keeping it even to your own hurt?
Do you love truth enough to guard and keep it by applying it no matter how hard it is to keep, for there are thieves all around who are after it, especially assigned in warfare to take and steal it away from human beings. How special is it to you? Are you sure of it? Can you be talked out of it, giving it away for persuasion-sake? Or is it too valuable to you? Does that value system increase or decrease with time or circumstantial changes? Is it eternal or earthly truth you live for?
There is a day all of this will be all wrapped up. No one knows that day of themselves ever and for each man it is a different day and time. Are you awake and aware and do you live for that day? Or are you living for today only? One day at a time sweet Jesus? (be careful of the tactics of the enemy to steal good Christian soldiers allegiances out- one day at a time, to make one so short sighted they become blind).
We do live in a vile and evil time. Those who believe in and follow after Him are not a part of that though they may live right in the center of it all. They are in the world as Kingdom of God on earth ambassadors, to shine brightly, especially when the dark gets darker, but they are in no way of the world system, they keep themselves separated in mind and heart, though their bodies may be where those who’s spirits are dead are. They have been made holy unto God as messenger examples, by the choices they have made and make each day for righteousness and truth.
On the day the Lord of All decides it is over, it is over. If one lives as though that day for them is afar off, they are in great error. The man who thinks he had time to get right with God really has no time, and is a fool, for the Lord will come to him as thief comes, for he is not expecting it, he is blinded and deafened on purpose, and enemy has memorized him and caught him in a trap of his own reason. Pity on that deceived man (human).
They who understand the times and live accordingly, they are blessed in all they do.
Let’s look at some of the evidences of those who believe and prove their faith by good works act upon in response to God.
