Today Our Daily Bread Psalm 133

Psalms 133: 1 - 3
1 A song for the ascent to Jerusalem. A psalm of David. How wonderful it is, how pleasant,
when brothers live together in harmony! 2 For harmony is as precious as the fragrant anointing
oil that was poured over Aaron's head, that ran down his beard and onto the border of his robe.
3 Harmony is as refreshing as the dew from Mount Hermon that falls on the mountains of Zion. And the LORD has pronounced his blessing, even life forevermore.
~Lena's Comments~
Is anointing worth unity? Is peace and harmony worth getting into agreement and resisting discontentment with others? Is the blessing pronounced by God Himself worth brethren living together and striving only to love and walk in the image of the Father towards one another, diving into covenant activity and thought? Is it? If one has truly ever really tasted of any of the above- the peace of God, harmony, peace, the love of the Father, anointing, agreement, blessing of God, etc, They know it is worth enough to lay down one’s life and own self-centered desires for. It is, He is and he did, for us! It’s all about eternity and how we walk that walk and with whom.
